Full Focus

The drama is on us. The entire process is taken care of, from developing the design concept to the final placement of the last object that completes the design. We’re there every step of the way to get your project done, and to make sure you have a great experience.

If you are busy and prefer to focus on the things that you’re good at, Full Focus is for you.

Chances are you have a sense of style and like to express yourself.

THE PROCESS

1. Understanding your needs
Our initial meeting will be informal. We will chat about the changes you plan, your needs, ideas, dreams, preference, and requirements. Then we will assess the site and the scope of the project. At the same time it is just as important that you get to know us and understand how the process works.
2. Developing the concept
When we are both happy to proceed, the fun can begin. We will start working on the layouts, space planning and conceptual design. You will receive a preliminary design proposal and we’ll discuss all the options and possibilities. This is an exciting and dynamic stage in the project. You will see your ideas take shape in design sketches, drawings, layouts, mood boards and samples.
3. Taking it further
During this stage we make the necessary modification to the design concept, and finalise the detailed work drawings for implementation. Now we can start sourcing for specific materials, finishes, and fixtures.
We’ll arrange consultations and site meetings with relevant third parties – architects, engineers, trade specialists and contractors where necessary to finalise the design, and establish costs.
You will receive a specification schedule, scope of work and detailed quotation.
4. Making it happen
Taking the project through the stages of implementation requires careful coordination and constant attention to detail. To assure a smooth and efficient installation we are meticulous about every aspect of the installation process.
For ease of mind, we will be in regular contact with you throughout the demolition and construction stages of your project.
5. Completion and beyond
In Form Design we don’t consider the project completed until we have inspected the installation together and are both pleased with the result.

HOW TO PREPARE

Make a list of everything that you can think of that bothers you, no matter how small. Sometimes small irritations give big insights.

Show us what you like. Think about the look and feel of places that speak to your heart. If you haven’t started some sort of scrapbook yet, do so now. It helps us to form a picture of who you are, what you like and what’s important to you. This could be pictures from the Internet or magazines, actual places you’ve seen, or a special object, fabric or artwork that you love.

Give us a glimpse of your lifestyle. Think of all the ways that you use and want to use different areas in your home. We want to design your space around your lifestyle.

How far do we go? You want us to come up with some awesome ideas, and we want to do it within your framework. What are your limitations in terms of budget, time and scope?

Give as much information you can think of. It doesn’t matter if you think it’s not important – it makes our task easier and might save you time and money down the line.

We will discuss and determine a suitable fee structure after our first meeting and once we have a clear understanding of the nature of the project, and our involvement.

Of course, every project is unique and not everyone fits into a predefined category. We can tailor our services to suit your individual needs.
