Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course, if you dig deeper, it's really how it works.
Welcome. I’m glad you’re here
Instead of giving you all the usual interior design gobbledygook, I want to talk about something much more important –– YOU. After all, my business exists because my focus is all about MAKING SPACE FOR YOU.
When working on a project, I always ask myself this: How can I improve the space AND save you time and money?
Here's how I see it:
–– You shouldn't waste your time. With decades of experience, I know instinctively where the weak areas are and what can be done to correct them. I will give you the tools and information you need to help you get things right from the start.
–– You don’t want to pay more than you need to. I believe in fair pricing for design work and sourced materials. I’ve got your back.
–– You want to love your design – we're not done until you do. That’s the only way this can work. You're the one who will be living in your space. If you love it you’ll tell others about it. That way we both benefit.
–– You want to feel your space is about YOU. It's not about me. The best interiors are those with character and aura. They're layered with the stories of those living there. That's what I care about.
–– You want your design to last – I am not motivated by brand names or the latest fads – instead I focus on character, quality and lasting design.
You're in great hands. I've been doing this for 20 years.
Layout & Color expert
At In Form Design I focus on two things:
• To improve your space — manipulate the space so that it feels right and works better for you.
• To save you time & money — give you the tools you need to make smart choices and get it right from the start.
In the process I hope to reduce all the waste I see every day that comes from bad choices.
It starts with a conversation. Let's talk about your space.
Insider tips and bits that will get you going…
“…It was a painless installation – from the design, to planning, solving all our problems and always having an open line of communication, reporting back during the entire project – it was a fantastic journey…”
You obviously care about your space.
You want to FEEL GREAT spending time there.
You want COMFORT and QUALITY that will look good and last.
You also want to know that you're making choices that will be a GOOD RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT.
Whether you're remodeling or building new, there are endless things to consider. It's costly and the choices you make are often permanent. An experienced designer will coach you through the process and save you a good deal of time, money and headache.
If you're on a budget — as most of us are — you cannot afford to get it wrong.
Let's do it right from the start.

Making Space for you
(Picture via Pinterest) I don’t know about you, but I dread that question. What’s your style? It’s so hard. First of all, it’s a weird mix of things, and then it morphs and grows all the time. I look at my house now, and I think back to my first apartment. Wow, is it even the […]
(Picture via homegirllondon.com) I was at a friend’s the other day. In the corner of her entrance and in part of the living room were cramped together some odd pieces of furniture that didn’t look like they were very happy there. They belonged to her mother, and she wasn’t quite sure what to do with […]
Every now and then magic happens with the most simple things. Do you find it strange to hear that even good designers sometimes panics? Perhaps you know that feeling – you’ve pushed the limits and tried something new. You know that it will work, but there’s that little voice that nags, that whispers in your ear – […]
There’s never enough time. Most of the time there isn't enough space either. I haven’t yet figured out how to stretch time but I do know how to make the most of every square inch.
Life's too short to be complacent. Let's do something outrageous...
