Welcome, I’m glad you’re here
Instead of giving you all the usual interior design gobbledygook, I want to talk about something much more important –– YOU. After all, my business exists because my focus is all about MAKING SPACE FOR YOU.
When working on a project, I always ask myself this: How can I improve the space AND save you time and money?
Here's how I see it:
–– You don't want to waste your time – with decades of experience behind me, I know instinctively where the weak areas are and what can be done to correct it. I will give you the tools and information you need to help you get it right from the start.
–– You don’t want to pay more than you should – I believe in fair pricing for design work, and out there when sourcing for materials, finishes and furnishings for your project – I’m your advocate who looks after your interests. I’ve got your back.
–– You want to love your design - the work is not done unless you do. That’s the only way this can work. My thinking is this: you are the one who will be living in your space – if you love it you’ll tell others about it. This way we both benefit.
–– You want to feel your space is about YOU – your dreams, your life, your personality - not the designer's. The best interiors are those with character and aura; it's layered with the stories and quirky bits of those living there. That's what I care about.
–– You want your design to last – I am not motivated by brand names or the latest fad – instead I focus on character, quality and lasting design.
–– Your design is in great hands –– I've been doing it for 20 years

At In Form Design I focus on two things:
• To improve your space — manipulate the space so that it feels right and works better for you.
• To save you time & money — give you the tools you need to make smart choices and get it right from the start.
In the process I hope to reduce all the waste I see every day that comes from bad choices.
It starts with a conversation. Let's talk about your space.
Insider tips and bits that will get you going…
“…It was a painless installation – from the design, to planning, solving all our problems and always having an open line of communication, reporting back during the entire project – it was a fantastic journey…”
You obviously care about your space.
You want to FEEL GREAT spending time there.
You want COMFORT and QUALITY that will look good and last.
You also want to know that you're making choices that will be a GOOD RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT.
Whether you're remodeling or building new, there are endless things to consider. It's costly and the choices you make are often permanent. An experienced designer will coach you through the process and save you a good deal of time, money and headache.
If you're on a budget — as most of us are — you cannot afford to get it wrong.
Let's do it right from the start.

Making Space for you
(Source) Last week I guest-posted this article on Decorated Life. Thank you, Christine, for posting it on your blog. We recently moved countries, and I want to tell you what I did just after we moved into our new house – but there’s something about the Far East first. Did you know that bonsai tree landscapes […]
(Picture via Tempo da delicadeza) Whenever the subject of choosing a sofa enters the realms of our home, my husband reminds me of a former colleague who said that he wants a blind man to test and recommend his sofa – someone whose opinion will not be tainted by a thing as frivolous as looks. Well, […]
(Picture via Pinterest) I don’t know about you, but I dread that question. What’s your style? It’s so hard. First of all, it’s a weird mix of things, and then it morphs and grows all the time. I look at my house now, and I think back to my first apartment. Wow, is it even the […]
